Dear parents and guardians,
The Hong Hong Education Department Bureau (EDB) has announced another round of HK$2500 grants for Primary and Secondary students. Within the scope of subsidy are students studying in day schools in Hong Kong and are Hong Kong residents.
Next week, class teachers in Primary and Advisors in Secondary will be distributing hard copy application forms for eligible students. Students holding student visas only or recognizance forms issued by the Immigration Department are not eligible.
Please note and follow the below reminders for smooth processing of your child’s application:
- Students who successfully applied for the scheme last year will receive the pre-filled forms; please review all information carefully and correct it whenever necessary;
- In the Applicant Information section, you should only provide a sole bank account number; joint bank accounts will not be accepted by EDB;
- Please include an accurate bank code and make sure that the applicant’s name is the same as the holder of the bank account.
Please return the completed and signed forms to your child’s Class Teacher or Advisor before Friday 7 October 2022.
