ESF Art Competition

RCHK Refugee Action Team is holding an ESF Art Competition a theme of which was inspired by the humanitarian crisis many countries are currently facing and the experience of individuals, regardless of age or gender who are forced to leave their countries. All secondary students will have the opportunity to use visual arts as a means to communicate an important message related to the ongoing refugee crisis.

Enter the art competition by filling out this form. Sign-ups closing date is Wednesday, 31 March 2021.

Visual communication is one of the most powerful forms of delivery, and the Refugee Action Team hope to raise awareness about the struggles of refugees in commemoration of World Refugee Day (June 20) by doing exactly this. It is now more important than ever to advocate for refugees as they are one of the groups of people that are most heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Art pieces willl later be auctioned and the proceeds will be going towards a Hong Kong-based refugee charity.
