May 2018 IB Diploma and Career Related Programme – Results Overview

The RCHK Class of 2018 produced a set of incredibly pleasing results, from which the majority were able to secure their first choice university place. With a 98% pass rate for the full diploma and an average total point score of 35 points, RCHK continues to statistically stand well above the global averages. Underlying these figures, it is necessary to continue to celebrate the successes of the students who secured bilingual diplomas, by taking two native / near native language courses. Of our total cohort, 40% of students participated in this additional challenge and attained prestigious awards, resulting in a pass rate of 99% for those entered for the bilingual diploma.

An additional level of success can be seen in the fact that 20% of our students were able to achieve a total of 40 points or more – a figure that would place them as competitive Ivy League or Oxbridge applicants.
